SYNOPSIS
Log Line
Fictional drama based on factual events, about two young girls and their encounter with an Internet predator.

Synopsis
Megan Is Missing is a fictional drama that follows two young girls, Megan Stewart, 14, and her best friend Amy Herman, 13. Though opposites in personality, they forge a deep friendship as they grow up fast in a world of rave parties, casual drug use and indiscriminate sex. Using the Internet as a lifeline for social interaction, Megan meets a 17 year-old boy named Josh in a web chat room. When she disappears after arranging to meet him in person, Amy launches a concentrated effort to find her friend, but instead finds a truth more terrifying than she could have ever imagined. As the media swirls around the story of Megan Stewart’s disappearance, Amy Herman suddenly vanishes as well.

Endorsed by Marc Klaas and the KlaasKids Foundation, a child safety advocacy group in the U.S., Megan Is Missing is an original screenplay, derived from research into seven actual cases of child abduction, MEGAN IS MISSING explores the varied and creative ways that kids use technology, the myth of invincibility, the deadly anonymity of the internet, and the horror of ordinary kids walking in the midst of extraordinary evil. It is an uncompromising view of the world children are in today, so harrowing in its realism, that it will truly make your blood run cold. Megan Is Missing will leave an indelible, life-altering mark on its audience, if they are brave enough to see it through to the gut-wrenching finish.

SYNOPSIS
Kaspar Toporski is a young Polish filmmaker who moved far away from his hometown when he was a kid. He is willing to develop his projects in cinema and is in constant wait for answers from production companies. He spends his time drawing, writing and creating his own imaginary world, which seems to be getting more and more real, day by day. He has always admired crocodiles, since he was a child, as he believes them to be perfect creatures, which are able to control the passing of time. Kaspar shares his thoughts with Helix, a young photographer interested in the relation between death and the capture of images. He is secretly in love with her. Kaspar also hangs out with Schulz, a mysterious doll maker who is obsessed with the theories about creation and dummies, elaborated by the Polish writer Bruno Schulz, and with Bertolt, a fellow filmmaker that never got over the failure of his first movie, destroyed by a short-sighted production team.To pin down his ideas, Kaspar begins shooting a movie about himself, a sort of cinematic sketchbook, made from drawings, pictures, short animations, sounds, words and music… made of dreams and nightmares. As time goes by, his movie begins taking shape but Kaspar slowly drifts away from the real world, until he eventually realizes that he himself might just be a product of his own imagination.
